"When my son’s daycare voiced their concern for his speech clarity and suggested a speech evaluation, I reached out to Dr. Sims. She completed a thorough evaluation and created a treatment plan and schedule that fit into our full family schedule. She incorporated play and other strategies to maximize on his attention span and engagement. He soon began to look forward to his weekly sessions with Dr. Sims and we continued to see improvement. Although Covid suspended our speech therapy, Dr. Sims provided referrals for therapists within our network and most recently served as a parent advocate helping secure additional speech resources and services in school.
