Our Story
Fluently Speaking, LLC. is a speech-language pathology full service private practice initially founded in 2010. The mission of Fluently Speaking has always been to provide culturally-sensitive services to adults and children with communication difficulties. We have a passion for servicing individuals from marginalized communities. At Fluently Speaking we pride ourselves on being scientifically trained and clinically experienced serving individuals from the ages of 3-133. We hold our Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-language and Hearing Association. We are licensed in the states of Illinois and Arizona and accept IL & AZ state medicaid and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Introducing Dr. Niqueka Sims
Dr. Niqueka Sims, the founder and visionary of Fluently Speaking, is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist with two decades of clinical experience. She earned her bachelor’s degree from St. Xavier University, master’s degree from Tennessee State University, and a clinical doctorate in speech-language pathology from Rocky Mountain University. Dr. Sims has extensive experience working in schools, private-practice, and teaching at the graduate level. Dr. Sims has worked with clients across the lifespan with neurological deficits, aphonia, dementia, dysphagia, dysarthria, articulation, cognition, and other speech-language related disorders. Dr. Sims is most passionate about evidence-based practice, molding the next generation of clinicians, parent/caregiver education and advocating for client rights.
